The Shiraz is predominantly Shiraz with a little Viognier added to provide aromatic lift to the wine. ![]() Appearance: Deep red with garnet hues Nose: Plums with hints of pepper, spice and dark chocolate. Palate: A soft full bodied wine showing raspberry, blackberry, cherry and spice characters finishing with chalky tannins. Serving suggestions: A wine like this handles more robust dishes such as roast beef, lamb or pork. It is a perfect match to a big juicy steak or game meats such as kangaroo or venison. It is well suited to richly flavoured casseroles or to washing down a pizza after a long day. What James Halliday said: "Brilliantly clear crimson colour points to the vibrant, juicy red fruits on both bouquet and palate; oak and tannins are in veiled support for a delicious light-to medium-bodied wine."
